This recipe combines durable perennials that are tough enough to take on heavy, clay soils (certainly no shortage of that here in North Georgia!). The DECADENCE® Baptisia and the Storm Cloud Amsonia will start the show in Spring, lasting thru early Summer, providing the perfect contrast between long panicles and clusters of flowers. The SUMMERIFIC® Hardy Hibiscus and the ‘Denim ‘n Lace’ Russian Sage will emerge a bit later in the Spring with a gorgeous, colorful late season performance in the landscape. This recipe is excellent for filling a space, as each plant takes up a substantial part of the garden.
